Now take some of that, right? And put it in a halo setting, most likely on the UNSC side of things. This could also include 3D printing facilities or the like so that you wouldn't need to repeatedly weld them together by hand. This would obviously help with letting the engine handle all the shenanigans when it comes to en masse unit deployment. I'm going to take some inspiration off of the ARMCO Imperialmod and suggest making ships split into different large components so you can clip them together with a small handful of giant blocks. I'd obviously want it to still have the core SE mechanics, with all that mining and building jazz, but maybe this modpack idea could add a bit of fleet command to it. You know, the more I play Space Engineers and SOTP, the more I feel like I have a lightbulb going off in my head. No, not the actual Sins of the Prophets brand, but still set in the Halo universe. For this reason you should try and distill it down to the smallest and simplest concept you can, that way an interested game developer can actually make it.
